St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Mission Statement

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, as a Parish family, comes together in faith and unity as Christ’s Church.
Our mission is to reflect the greatest and the first commandment taught to us by Jesus – “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22: 37-39)
Guided by the Holy Spirit, we strive to work together, reaching out with compassion and prayer to serve those in need within our Parish and throughout the community. Through fellowship and spiritual development, we will grow together in love by sharing the gifts God has given to us with others.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, Who taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that, by the gift of the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
