St. John Cantius Cemetery
To parishioners, guests and out of town families of St. John’s & St. Mary’s Cemeteries. Effective November 1st you may now start to place seasonal artificial flowers on your cemetery plot(s) until March 15th 2022. We kindly ask that you not use any wire or rebar type metal to secure objects. Please share this info with your friends and families who may visit the cemeteries. Thank you!
Our cemetery has plots available for purchase. Plots for Church members are $300 and for non-members are $450; perpetual care cost are $150 per plot for both members and non-members. For the burial of cremation ashes the price starts at $200.00 and up depending on the burial container used. A recent addition to our cemetery was an outdoor columbarium with niches. The cremation niches sell for $900 per niche, which does not include inscription or opening fees. To maintain consistency in lettering of the niches, inscriptions are handled through the cemetery. Please call the parish office, 467-7191 opt #4, for more information or assistance in your funeral planning.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, Who taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that, by the gift of the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. |
