2025 Student Contest Info

The PA Pro-Life Federation will again hold Essay and Oratory Contests this year. Please do encourage students in your area
to participate.

The annual statewide Pro-Life Student Contests for the upcoming academic year are now open for entries. PPLF’s Essay and Speech contests provide a platform for students to express their pro-life views and learn to advocate for the vulnerable in our society from a young age. Notably, our contestants have achieved significant recognition in recent years, with winners securing first and second places at the national level for the past two consecutive years.

Pennsylvania State Student Contests

State Pro-Life Essay Contest
Write a pro-life essay on abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide, euthanasia, or stem cell research.
Word Limit: Grades 10-12: 750 Words ~ Grades 7-9: 500 Words

Both Groups: 1st Place $200, 2nd $150, 3rd $100

Submit entries & cover page by March 1, 2025

State Pro-Life Speech Contest
Write and record a 5-7 minute pro-life speech on abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide, euthanasia, or stem cell research.

Senior Division (Grades 11 & 12) - 1st Place wins an all-expense paid trip to the 2025 National Right to Life Convention
to compete in the National Oratory Contest!
2nd place $200 and 3rd place $100
Junior Division (Grades 9 & 10) - 1st Place $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100

Submit entries by April 18, 2025
