History History of the Washington County PHL The Washington County Pennsylvanians for Human Life was founded and welcomed by the Board of Directors of the PA Pro-Life Federation and Pennsylvanians for Human Life, Southwest Region in 2008. The chapter's founding President, Lynette Leasure, served until stepping down in 2009. For many years our chapter has educated the people of Washington County about the issues of abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, and stem cell research, and to continue to pursue the mission of 'Changing Hearts & Saving Lives in Washington County!' Since its founding, the chapter had been featured in several articles in the Observer Reporter, Washington County's largest newspaper, organized Family Fun Nights at Washington Wild Things baseball games, had a pro-life educational booth at the Washington County Fair, sponsored a pro-life Mothers' Day ad in the Observer-Reporter, built partnerships with many Washington County residents, businesses, churches, and other organizations, and accomplished much more. Our members have moved, died, or have become unable to be in charge of and work on pro-life events. So, we are looking for those who can fill our shoes. If you are interested in helping this chapter become active again, please call 412-391-6862, the phone# for the Pennsylvanians for Human Life Southwest Region of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation affiliated with National Right to Life. Tell us how you would like to volunteer and what your ideas are to promote our pro-life cause.
