Moms Make Scrubbies To Sell $1 Goes A Long Way To Support A Family in Jamaica
These scrubbies work g r e a t! - We do need help in selling them. You can: 1. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope with a donation ($3 would be great!) to buy 3 scrubbies (3 scrubbies fit into a legal sized envelope!) 2. Know of a hair dresser or someone who has a small office? A little display telling the story behind the "scrubbie" might encourage customers to support this worthwhile endeavor with a small donation in return for a scrubbie or two. 3. The Diocese is trying to find outlets in the US to sell these scrubbies for us. A payment of $1.00 US for each scrubbie would enable a woman to earn enough to support her family. The Mandeville Catholic Pastoral Centre is willing to send a quantity of these to any vendor for .75 each and even that amount would be a significant help to the poor.
